Money Card

What happens if your credit card gets charged but there is no money on it left?

eBay sent me a monthly invoice saying that they will automatically charge my credit card within 5-7 days. The amount is only $1.75 and I did not even sell the item, which is a total ripoff. Anyway - I have no money on my credit card. What will happen?
Yeah I meant my credit card is maxed out…if the $1.75 gets denied, what will happen?

An overdraft fee or the credit card company.

Your posting is confusing. A credit card doesn’t have “money left on it”. It’s a line of credit with a limit. Do you mean to say you have exhausted your limit? Did you mean to say Debit Card? These are two distinctly differing bank products.

The charge of 175 will probably be denied.
